The VADOSA, under development is a geophysical tool for imaging subsurface formations in earth materials. The device plots the results as a function of depth versus electrical properties, characteristics which are indicative of the materials present.

The VADOSA is representative of a unique geophysical methodology. This methodology relies upon the principles of Ohm's and Kirchoff's Law's, whereas conventional resistivity is based primarily upon Ohm's Law.
