The proposed work is within the City of Rock Island at 1300 17th Street; specifically the tennis courts/volleyball area of the park directly west of the picnic shelter. Â Construction consists of removal of the existing tennis courts, lighting pole foundations, tennis net poles and foundations, sidewalk, curb removal, re-grading and shaping of the tennis court and volleyball area, and finally fertilizing and seeding the entire re-graded area.
