PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Public Building Commission of Chicago (PBC) has invited all Contractors to bid on PBC Contract C1605, Works Progress Administration (“WPA”) Street Reconstruction (Fillmore Street).

The WPA Street Reconstruction (Fillmore Street) Project is located at: West Fillmore Street from South Campbell Avenue to Dead End West, Chicago, IL 60612.

The project consists of a Works Progress Administration (“WPA”) street reconstruction Project, including: full-depth pavement reconstruction of West Fillmore Street from South Campbell Avenue to Dead End. Work includes but isn’t limited to excavation, portland cement concrete base course, hot-mix asphalt surface course, sewer main and drainage structures, water main, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalks, tactile/detectable warning surface system for curb ramps, concrete driveways and alleys, lighting, thermoplastic pavement marking, signs, topsoil, sodding, and tree planting.

Daley Center, 50 West Washington, Room 200, by 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2023. A Public Bid Opening, streamed on the PBC YouTube channel, will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m.
