The City of Belleville will be accepting sealed bids for Raab Ave. Resurfacing and must be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office, 101 South Illinois Street, Belleville, IL 62220 on or before 10:00 a.m. on October 12, 2023, at which time bids received will be read publicly in the City Council Chambers.
Complete digital project bidding documents are available by emailing Oates Associates, Inc. at oai@oatesassociates.com
or by downloading the plans from the City’s website,
www.belleville.net
.
Contractors that wish to bid must register as a plan-holder with Oates Associates, Inc., by emailing the address or by contacting Terri Schlater at 618-345-2200. Failure to register may result in being disqualified for bidding.
The Belleville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities and technicalities and further reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Any and all firms and/or persons entering into a contract agreement with the City of Belleville shall be subject to and required to comply with all applicable local, State and Federal requirements. In particular non-discriminatory equal employment opportunity and affirmative action on public contracts. Any and all contract agreements shall be in conformance with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq). Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570/0.01), and the City of Belleville's Project Labor Agreement.
Bidders must be prequalified with the Illinois Department of Transportation and evidence of prequalification must be supplied prior to bidding.
