The City of Moline requests bids for a contractor to provide materials and labor for interior painting at the Moline Police Station, per the identified minimum specifications. Bids shall be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked on the front “Moline Police Department Painting…Do Not Open.” Bids will be received at the City Clerk’s office, Moline City Hall, 619 16 ^th Street, Moline, Illinois, until 1:30 p.m. CST, on Monday, December 4, 2023, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the City Hall, Council Chambers, 619 16 ^th Street, Moline, Illinois. The public opening is for information only, and is not to be construed as acceptance or rejection of any bid. No electronically transmitted or late bids will be accepted. Bids must be submitted on the required forms and signed by an authorized agent to be considered responsive to the request for bids. The City of Moline reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, decide what products meets, exceeds, or are equal to specifications and to waive any technicalities. Pursuant to the Moline Code of Ordinance Section 27-3102, the City of Moline reserves the right to cancel the bid request any time prior to the acceptance of the bid. A mandatory pre-bid walk through will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 9:00AM at 1640 6th Avenue, Moline, IL 61265 in the lobby of the Police Department to allow bidder to get a precise square footage, awareness for job scope, and prepare an accurate figure and time frame to complete the job. Building plans or blueprints will not be released.
