Community Development Block Grant
Floreciente Neighborhood Projects
It is the intent of the City of Moline to solicit professional services proposals for the provision for two individual Floreciente Neighborhood Infrastructure Projects for the City of Moline’s Community Development Block Grant Neighborhood Infrastructure Projects Program in accordance with all requirements stated herein. Both projects are located in Moline’s Floreciente Neighborhood.
Project 1 - Floreciente Neighborhood Veteran’s Memorial –
conceptual and specifications for a City/Floreciente Neighborhood Veteran’s Memorial. The consultant will work with City staff and members of the Floreciente Neighborhood Association to develop an engineered conceptual design and specifications for a Neighborhood Veteran’s Memorial at 4

Avenue and 8
th
Street.
Project 2 - Floreciente District Trail Connection
- conceptual and specifications for side paths along 46
th
Street and 1
st
Avenue that will/may eventually connect to the Moline (Sylvan Island)/Rock Island District Trail. The consultant will develop engineered flatwork conceptual design and specifications for paths/crossings located on the right-of-way.
Both proposals shall include the fixed (project) or hourly rate, by position, for each project and the estimated hours to complete and delivery of two conceptual packages by a mutually agreed upon date.
Individual project proposals shall be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked on the front as follows:

Only proposals that are received prior to the proposal’s due time and contained in a sealed envelope will be considered. Proposals must not be sent by facsimile or e-mail. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to deliver the proposal on or before the due time.
