Contractor to provide all labor, equipment, and chemicals to inject approximately 290 lbs. per acre of a mixture of 80 percent Methyl Bromide, 20 percent Chloropicrin gas to a depth of 10 inches into the soil and cover with a continuous, hot glued, TIF (totally impermeable film) plastic tarp. Contractor will have all permits and licenses to perform this soil fumigation work in Illinois and will comply with all EPA rules and requirements for this procedure using this product. Contractor to perform this work between September 1, 2023 and October 20, 2023 weather permitting. Contractor will have expertise, equipment, and staff to fumigate up to 15 acres in an 8 hour day. Mason Nursery staff will have seedbeds prepped for soil fumigation and Mason Nursery staff will remove and dispose of plastic tarps after the appropriate waiting period. Vendor should provide their Illinois Commercial Pesticide License with a category rating for Soil Fumigation at time of bid.
