The Illinois State Police (ISP) has identified a need for the procurement of Rifle Packages of desired specifications in order to meet the operational need. The ISP will make available up to 204 used Remington 870 Police Shotguns, 21 Remington Wingmaster Shotguns, and 212 used Police Rifles (chambered in 5.56), for new (not re-manufactured) Rifle Packages as described on the specifications page. Each rifle package will consist of one rifle, related accessories and one case, matching the provided specifications.
Award will be made to the vendor who can provide the highest number of new, complete rifle packages in exchange for the used Remington 870 Shotguns and used 5.56 Police Patrol Rifles. It will be at the sole discretion of the ISP to determine if a sufficient number of new rifle packages are being offered.
All quoted exchange quantities must be valid through August 31, 2023. Furthermore, trade value must include any associated shipping and handling charges. No adjustments will be made after the close of the bid. We reserve the right to reject all offers or to reject individual offers for failure to meet any requirement. Winning vendor will be selected based on highest quantity provided for trade.
*** Use of a brand name is for the purpose of describing the standard of quality, performance, and characteristics and is not intended to limit or restrict competition. "Or equal" submissions will not be rejected because of minor differences in design, construction or features that do not affect the suitability of the product for its intended use. Burden of proof that the product is equal is on the bidder.
Bidders must provide with their bid submission a specification sheet or other suitable documentation which shall include, at a minimum, Brand Name, Model Name, and Specifications for the products quoted. This must be of sufficient detail to enable the ISP to determine whether the product offered to the ISP meets our requirements as stated in this Bid. This information must be provided at a minimum in the -Alternative Description- section, and as needed, supplemented by information a Bidder attaches to their Bid. ***
