Item # 1:


Initial term 24 month contract for Diesel Fuel for Emergency Generator for the Illinois Veterans' Home Chicago, located at 4250 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL 60634. The Illinois Veterans' Home - Chicago has an emergency generator that will supply emergency power to the three essential electrical systems in the event of an power loss from Commonwealth Edison. The generator is a 1500 KW Cummins Diesel Generator with a diesel fuel of 2316 gallons. The generator is load tested once every month, and load tested for 4 hours every three years. Vendor is required to come onsite and maintain the fuel supply in the above ground fuel tank at the Facility's request. Vendor will need approximately 50 feet of hose to supply diesel fuel from the fuel truck to the emergency generator two inch fuel supply. Fuel is to be provided at the Facility's request. See attached RFQ.
