NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The City of Galesburg, Illinois, hereby invites sealed bids for a five year agreement to provide pool chemical supplies to the City of Galesburg. Bids will be received until 11:00 a.m., local time, November 22, 2023, at the office of the Purchasing Agent located in the Finance Department at City Hall, located at 55 West Tompkins Street, Galesburg, IL, 61401; and at that time, publicly opened and read aloud in the Basement Conference Room in City Hall. Bid forms may be obtained at the office of the Purchasing Agent, or by visiting the city website at www.ci.galesburg.il.us. Vendors will be required to comply with all applicable EEO laws and regulations. Resolution No. 90-74 requires compliance with the Human Relations Act and all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations. The right is reserved to accept any bid or any part or parts thereof or to reject any and all bids. The contract award shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid properly addresses and complies with the invitation and is most advantageous to the City of Galesburg; price and other factors considered.
