TRANSIT DISPATCH SOFTWARE &

ASSOCIATED PERIPHERALS

FOR THE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM

CITY OF GALESBURG

The City of Galesburg, Illinois is seeking Proposals from qualified firms for the purchase of dispatch software and associated peripherals to be utilized in the daily operations of the public transportation system; which offers both fixed route services and paratransit services.

A request for proposals (RFP) document describing the project and document submission requirements may be obtained at the office of the Purchasing Agent, City of Galesburg, 55 W. Tompkins Street, Galesburg, Illinois 61401 or online at www.ci.galesburg.il.us

Sealed proposals must be submitted to the attention of the Purchasing Agent by 11:00 A.M. on March 06, 2024. Information must be submitted according to the instructions and requirements set forth in the RFP, and must be hand delivered or sent through U.S. Mail or other available courier services. The Offeror shall not provide responses to the RFP by fax or by e-mail. The City of Galesburg is an equal opportunity employer and expects the same commitment from all individuals, companies or agencies engaged in contracts with the City. Contracts resulting from the Request for Proposals are subject to all state and federal non-discrimination and Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations, and are subject to all applicable federal and state rules and regulations outlined in the Illinois Department of Transportation's Public Transportation Capital Improvement Grants Manual. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) are encouraged to submit proposals and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, creed, age, sex, national origin or disability in consideration for an award. The City of Galesburg reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or to re-solicit. Acceptance of any proposal is subject to concurrence by the Illinois Department of Transportation. Any contract resulting from this process is subject to financial assistance contracts between the City of Galesburg and the Illinois Department of Transportation. The City of Galesburg reserves the right to withdraw the RFP at anytime for any reason. Submittal of a RFP by a company, agency or individual confers no rights upon the proposer nor obligates the City of Galesburg in any manner. Funding for this project is provided by a grant from the Illinois Department of Transportation.
