The Work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, machinery, tools, rigging, brushes, material, equipment, bonds and insurance necessary to improve and rehabilitate coatings at the Water Treatment Plant. The work includes cleaning, sandblasting, power tool cleaning, including proper handling and disposal of spent blast residue and other material, perform repairs and modifications to steel components, and paint the interior of one (1) 69 foot diameter Clarifier, one (1) 18 foot 9 inch diameter Recarbonation Tank, one (1) 9 foot diameter Vertical Pipe Gallery, the exterior of various piping throughout the plant, and the exterior flange of four (4) 15 foot diameter filters. The work also includes proper containment of blast and paint residue and proper disposal of blast residue and clean-up of the site.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on August 9, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. prevailing time at the site location, 1111 Aurora Avenue, Aurora, IL 60505. The pre-bid meeting will be the contractor’s only opportunity to visit the project site.
