Location: Various streets (12.680 miles) located in the geographic area of the City east of the Fox River and south of the BNSF railroad tracks.

Proposed Improvement: Approximate quantities of work to include Curb and Gutter Removal & Replacement (13,190 FT), Sidewalk Removal & Replacement (59,980 SQ FT), HMA Surface Removal (210,460 SQ YD), Class D Patches var. (2,840 SQ YD), Polymerized HMA Binder Course, IL-4.75 (9,799 TON), HMA Surface Course (18,378 TON), Thermoplastic Pavement Markings (various), Structure Adjustments, Landscape Restoration and other related items.

The City encourages minority business firms to submit proposals and encourages the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.

The 2 low bidders must file within 24 hours after the letting an “Affidavit of Availability” (Form BC 57), showing all uncompleted contracts awarded to them and all low bids pending award. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty as outlined in the Proposal form
