This Solicitation is for Wetland Permit Work located on-site at Fermilab and is comprised of the following elements. The Subcontractor’s scope of work is not limited to the general work outline described below. The Subcontractor shall perform all work required to complete the construction work in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
Tree Clearing
Tree Clearing includes clearing, grubbing, tree and shrub protection, debris removal, surveying and accessories necessary for Tree Clearing for the areas in accordance with the Contract Documents. Tree Clearing shall wholly occur between November 15 and March 15.
Site Work
Site Work includes excavation, grading and stockpiling of wetland materials in all Temporarily and Permanently Impacted Areas as indicated on the Contract Documents, lined channels with outlets, surveying, silt fencing, erosion control blankets, riprap and accessories necessary for a complete installation.

The anticipated period of perfomance for this work is November 2023 through March 2024.
This is a small business set-aside; only firms certifying to be small businesses will be considered for award.
Important dates and times:
Mandatory Pre-proposal Conference via Zoom: May 4th, 2PM via Zoom. Please e-mail the solicitation contact with anticipated attendence list by April 28. Zoom link is in solicitation documents. Zoom meeting will be recorded.
Questions due: May 12th, 2023.
Proposals Due: 5PM, Friday, May 19th 2023.
FRA intends to schedule OPTIONAL site visits prior to May 12th; notification will be provided via addenda to this SAM.gov posting with more details.
ADDENDUM 1: Issued directly to attendees of mandatory pre-proposal conference, is being attached. Adddendum 1 includes information from the pre-proposal converence and information on an optional site visit May 11.
ADDENDUM 2: Adddendum 2 includes information pertaining to the removal of quality requirements previously included in the RFP and pre-proposal presentation.
ADDENDUM 3: Adds a Fully Burdened Rate Form and revised Mandatory Requirements Checklist to reflect this addition. Fully Burdened Rate Form is for suppliers to indicate fully burdened rates which may be used for the purposes of estimating and evalauting pricing for future potental change orders and not part of the RFP pricing evaluation.
ADDENDUM 4: Provides Q&A Document, changes to RFP, and changes Proposal Due Date to 5/26/2023.
