Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI Pekin) is making a sole source award to United Refrigeration Inc. to fulfill an immediate need to replace the following components in the Food Service warehouse freezer: (2) TEZA100L8-HT3D Condensing Unit, (4) TMP239LE-S2D EVAPORATOR, (2) 20166 KE2 8 PORT EITHERNET SWITCH, (2) 21920 KE2 EM PLUS W/ BACNET, (2) TEZA085L8-HT3D Condensing Unit, (1) TEZA025H8-HT3D CONDENSING UNIT, and (1) TLP422MA-S1D EVAPORATOR; in accordance with FAR 13.106-3(b)(3) - only one source was solicited due to the urgency of the need, and the acquistion does not exceed the simplified acquistion threshold. The NAICS code is 423740. See attached justification below.
