Offered space shall be contiguous.
Proposed site/building shall not be located in the immediate vicinity of hazardous materials transportation/ storage facilities (i.e. gas stations, fuel storage areas), as well as railroad lines transporting hazardous materials.
Proposed site/building shall not be located near Public Defenders, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Probation Offices or other businesses or facilities deemed unacceptable for security purposes.
It is preferred that the proposed site/building not be located near low-risk facilities such as day care centers, schools, hospitals, and religious /rehabilitation/social service centers.
A standoff (setback) distance of 30 feet from the curb line to the nearest point accessible by a vehicle to the façade of the building is preferred.
The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Lisle, IL, that will be expiring. The Government will consider alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain.
