Description

Argonne National Laboratory is seeking QTY 1 Terahertz Spectrometer and Imager with the following specification requirements.




  1. Measure absorption as well as reflection from 0.3 to 20 THz spectral range with at least 60dB signal to noise near 4 THz.

  2. Demonstrate spectral resolution of 2.7 GHz or better.

  3. Perform imaging with 100 micron spatial resolution over 5 cm x 5 cm of area.

  4. Acquire 4 spectra per second or more and convert raw signals to absorption, transmission, and reflection.

  5. Have small footprint of ~26" x 26" or smaller and not require water cooling.

  6. Have purged sample area



Argonne is looking for a bidder that meets the provisions of the Buy American Act. Please provide the country of origin and best available lead time.
