Dr. Stephen White, co-author, and co-developer of the WAVR-21 V3 (Workplace Assessment of Violence Risk, 3rd edition) will conduct this comprehensive one-and-a-half-day training on workplace violence risk, threat assessment, and case management strategies. A significant portion of Day 2 will consist of respectful debriefing of several of client s own cases, current or past. This provides high leverage learning and relevance to client s organizational context, direct application of the WAVR-21, and productive discussion of assessment and case management strategies. Attendees will learn how to apply the WAVR-21 instrument, appropriate to their roles, to better identify individuals who may pose a threat from those who make a threat or otherwise come to attention, and the pros, cons, and appropriateness of various response options. The training facilitates multi-disciplinary collaboration, and the identification of protocol issues to address further. Dr. White s bio is available at wtsglobal.com. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13.106-3(b)(3)(i), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This will be a firm fixed price service contract.
This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service to the Contracting Officer by 5:00PM (CST) 11/23/2023. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Contracting Officer will proceed with the sole source negotiation with the NCH Corporation.
