The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to issue Solicitation 36C25221R0084 for Special Mode Transportation Services to the beneficiaries of the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. Transports may periodically be required in all of Illinois and Indiana.
The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel and equipment to provide for twenty-four (24) hour 7 (seven) day a week wheelchair van and sedan transportation services. Approximately 80% of the transports will occur entirely in the state of Illinois and 20% will have an origin or destination in the state of Indiana.
The VA intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price contract for one year and four option years.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 485991.
This procurement is being set-aside based on an order of priority as established in 38 USC 8127 and solicitation issued as tiered evaluations with the following tiers: (1) SDVOSB concerns; (2) VOSB concerns; (3) small business concerns with HUBZone small business concerns and 8(a) participants having priority; and (4) large business concerns.
