A pre-proposal meeting will be held over a period of one day at the date and times specified below and in Section III, Pre-Proposal Meeting Information. Attendance is encouraged but is not mandatory. The meetings will begin promptly at the stated times. Metra requests notification to:

by persons planning to attend. The pre-proposal meeting will begin at 9:00 A.M. on June 14, 2022, at Metra’s LaSalle Street Station at 414 South LaSalle Street., Chicago, IL 60605 (meet in front of the ticketing/waiting area outside the glass doors). Following this meeting at approximately 11:00 A.M will be a visit to the Rock Island Yard, located at 147 West 47th Street, Chicago, IL 60609. At 2:00 P.M., participants will meet at the Rock Island Blue Island Coach Yard, located at 2100 West Prairie, Blue Island, IL. Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as specified below will be required for this part of the meeting.

ALL ATTENDEES ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A HARD HAT, YELLOW/GREEN SAFETY VEST (CLASS II WITH REFLECTIVE STRIPING), SAFETY GLASSES (SIDE SHIELDS FOR PRESCRIPTION EYEWEAR), AND STEEL OR SIMILAR SAFETY TOE BOOTS. Masks are not required at the time of issuance of the RFP, but any proposers/vendors/interested parties should monitor changes to FTA/FRA regulations in relation to COVID-19, along with any City of Chicago regulations
