Bid Description: The pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. ( LPT) on October 4, 2022, at Metra’s 14th Street Yard located at 432 W. 14th St., Chicago, IL 60607. We will meet in front of the fuel pump house (see attached “Pre-Bid Meeting Location and Meeting Place” map). Since the Pre-Bid Meeting is being held at an active railyard, each attendee will be required to sign a liability waiver at the meeting in order to participate. This pre-bid meeting is not mandatory, but attendance is encouraged. ALL ATTENDEES ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR HARD HAT, ORANGE SAFETY VEST (CLASS II WITH REFLECTIVE STRIPING), SAFETY GLASSES (SIDE SHIELDS FOR PRESCRIPTION EYEWEAR), AND STEEL TOED SAFETY BOOTS AT THE PRE-BID MEETING. ALL ATTENDEES WILL BE REQUIRED TO PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING. Questions regarding this IFB shall be submitted to Peter Papanikolau, Sr.
