Five (5) year service contract for preventative maintenance on the all scanning electron microscopes to include-onsite inspection of electron source filament and replacement at least two times per year per instrument, inspection and cleaning of the objective lens and final aperture and pole piece, turbo molecular pump maintenance, pre-vacuum pump maintenance, hardware lubrication, replacement of fan filters, inspection and cleaning of backscatter detector, inspection and cleaning of O-rings and replace if necessary, inspection and cleaning of the sample cup, software upgrade to the most current version, adjustments and alignments to original factory specification or better located at the Forensic Science Center at Chicago: 1941 West Roosevelt Rd., Chicago, IL 60608-1248. Freight costs are covered under the warranty for the SEMs and are not apart of this contract.
