REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE FOR THE CITY OF BATAVIA
The City of Batavia, IL will accept sealed bids for the 2023 Foreclosed Landscape Maintenance Program. The program for which bids are to be received generally include the grass cutting and the trimming of overgrown brush on foreclosed and abandoned properties.
As of 12:00 p.m., Monday, February 06, 2023, the complete RFP package may be obtained from the City of Batavia, Community Development Department, 100 North Island Avenue and at the City of Batavia website: www.cityofbatavia.net. Proposals shall be sealed and clearly marked on the front “Bids for 2023 Foreclosed Landscape Maintenance – City of Batavia.” FAXED BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
BIDS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN: 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 03, 2023. Bidders shall submit two (2) copies of their bid. Bids will be opened and read aloud at 11:15a.m., Friday, March 03, 2023, in the City of Batavia’s Council Chambers Room located on the first floor at City Hall.
The City Council of the City of Batavia reserves the right to reject all bids or to waive any technicalities, discrepancies, or information in the bids. The City of Batavia does not discriminate in admission, access to, treatment, or employment in its programs and activities.
The City of Batavia is not responsible for delays occasioned by the U.S. Postal Service, the internal mail delivery system of the City of Batavia, or any other means of delivery employed by the bidder.
The City of Batavia reserves the right to reject all bids, offers, or proposal submitted, or to advertise for new bids. The City of Batavia reserves the right to defer the acceptance of any bid and the award of a Contract for a period not exceeding forty-five (45) days after the date of opening the bids.
Similarly, the City of Batavia is not responsible for, and will not open, any bid responses which are received later than the date and time stated.
