This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract in accordance with (IAW) FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), PMA 266 Multi-Mission Tactical Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), at Patuxent River, MD, intends to solicit and award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract type for two TAC-450-360 IMUs from EMCORE CORPORATION - Emcore Chicago Inertial Corporation - 8412 W. 185th Street,Tinley Park, Illinois 60487. EMCORE maintains the proprietary data for part number TAC-450-360 IMUs and this IMU is necessary to interface with the Navy’s requirements.
