This is a SOURCES SOUGHT to determine the availability and technical capability of large and small businesses (including the following subsets, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone Firms; Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Woman Owned Small Business) to provide the required products and/or services.
The gap between an individual needing mental and/or emotional support services and the ability to receive those services is ever increasing. Right now, the number of individuals seeking care is placing a heavy manpower burden on the 375th Medical Group (375 MG) personnel and directly impacting the ability for members to receive help when care is needed most. Additionally, individuals are experiencing more and more disconnect between their interpersonal social relationships; connections that personnel have heavily relied on for decades. As Airman, we must continue to pursue well-being options that can assist not only our members but alleviate the manpower taxation placed on our mental health professionals.
The 375 CONS is seeking information for potential sources to provide proactive peer-based emotional support and connection, for approximately 2,600 members of Scott AFB per year. The Contractor shall provide a proven network of emotional support professionals to reach out to identified personnel to provide wellness checks and ensure the members are safe.
Please reference the draft Statement of Work (SOW) included with this notice.
Feedback on this requirement, to include the NAICS selection, is welcome.
